Privacy policy
Template notice. This is a placeholder policy drafted in good faith but not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Final wording will land before public launch.
Who we are
Homecue (“we”, “us”) operates the Homecue platform at homecue.com.au. We’re an Australian business and this policy is governed by Australian law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Buyers: name, email, mobile, location preferences, optional message.
- Owners: name, email, property address, ownership verification documents (if uploaded).
- Everyone: basic analytics (page views, device type) — no third-party advertising trackers.
How we use it
- Match buyer interest to verified property owners.
- Send transactional emails (interest confirmations, owner alerts).
- Send digest emails — only if you opt in.
- Verify property ownership.
Who sees your information
Buyers:when you register interest and a verified owner’s property matches your location, the owner can see your name, email, mobile, preferences and message. We never sell your data.
Owners: we only show your verified property address publicly — never your contact details.

Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@homecue.com.au and we’ll action it within 30 days.

We keep interest submissions for 24 months from last activity, then anonymise them. Owner accounts are kept until you delete them.
Complaints
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to us first, then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
